Consumed for centuries and originating in Egypt, chamomile looks like a tiny daisy and has been known to be a natural remedy for insomnia, cancer treatment, skin treatment, preventing osteoporosis & reducing menstrual pain. To make chamomile tea, the flowers are infused into hot water and steeped.

Use between 1 and 4 tablespoons for each cup of hot water. The recommended temperature is 200 degrees Fahrenheit or near boiling. Steep for 3-5 minutes and add honey or lemon juice if you wish.
