Dill weed

Dill is native to the Mediterranean and has a distinctive flavour combination of parsley and anise. Dill weed goes well with cucumbers, fish (especially salmon) and potatoes. Dill is also good in salad dressings along with buttermilk giving a homemade ranch dressing a nice touch. Dill weed is also a key ingredient in tzatziki, and really good in cream cheese spreads and sour cream.
