Ras El Hanout
This Moroccan spice blend was was created by North African spice dealers who would literally mix up the best of what they had to offer, thus blending an aromatic signature blend of 30-50 spices. Ras El Hanout translates to “head of the shop” in Arabic implying the best of the shop. Used in many savory dishes, rubbed on meat, fish stirred into cous cous , pasta or rice.
